ABOUT THE ARTIST

Dan Holtz has spent his career telling Nebraska's stories in songs. He has presented his musical, historical, story-telling programs hundreds of times all across Nebraska, including performances at the State Capitol, the Governor’s Mansion, the Bob Devaney Sports Center, Homestead National Monument, the Great Platte River Road Archway Monument, Chimney Rock, Scottsbluff National Monument, and Ft. Robinson. He also performed on the Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., for Nebraska State Day in 1999, and, along with the band Flatwater Highway, released in 2016 a second CD of his music titled All Original, All Nebraska. (This CD, which has four more musical tracks and spoken historical narratives that are not in the online album, is available for $15, which includes postage and handling.)
